Covid-19

All driving school cars are currently being sanitised daily, between lessons.
If any learners are showing symptoms of corona virus, or have been in contact with someone displaying symptoms, we request that you self-isolate in line with the government guidelines (7-14 days).  As such, you may be unable to complete your driving lessons, or intensive driving course.  Special allowances will be made for learners in this position, whereby the training course can be rescheduled to a later date, providing you have informed the office and given us adequate notice.
If one of our instructors becomes unwell we may need to reschedule your driving lessons or intensive driving course.  In this instance, the earliest possible dates will be offered.
No refunds will be given for pre-paid driving lessons, intensive course deposits, or full payments for intensive driving courses which are either cancelled, or rescheduled, but alternatives dates will be offered.
If your test is cancelled by the DVSA, they will offer you a new test date, but you may also be able to claim out of pocket expenses directly from them.  Your driving lessons, or intensive driving course can still go ahead as planned, and we will endeavour to get you a driving test as early as possible.

Driving Lesson Terms & Conditions:

We require 48 hours notice to cancel a driving lesson.  If our driving instructors do not receive 48 hours notice for a cancellation of a lesson, then the full lesson price will be charged to the pupil.

All pre-payments are none refundable and must be used within 6 months.

If you are not at the required standard to pass your driving test, our instructors reserve the right not to take you.  They will always discuss this with you when approaching a test date.

Intensive Driving Course Terms & Conditions:

Drivers GB act as a booking agent on behalf of the driving instructors conducting the intensive driving courses. Any dispute that arises during the course, be it financial, or otherwise, must be dealt with directly with the Driving Instructor. All deposits that are paid for courses are paid to Drivers GB. A refund of the deposit can only be made within seven days of the date of the initial booking, and must be requested in writing via email to: info@driversgb.com. After this period has passed, all deposit payments are none refundable. All remaining balances are paid directly to the driving instructor. Should a dispute arise between student and instructor is should be resolved between these parties directly. Drivers GB cannot be held responsible for any dispute between these two parties. Any refunds of outstanding balances for intensive courses is a matter between the student and the driving instructor, and is solely at the discretion of the driving instructor.  If, during the course, you fail to reach the required standard, we reserve the right not to take you to test, and any test fee will be forfeited.  To cancel or reschedule a course, a minimum of 2 weeks notice must be given to the school.  Failure to do so, may result in loss of your deposit and test fee. Once the course has started, should you choose to stop, abandon, or cancel the course, regardless of the reason, you will not be able to reclaim any of the fees or time missed (deposit, test fee or final payment made to the instructor). In rare circumstances, your driving instructor may need to adjust some of the hours booked for the driving course.  If this is the case, your driving instructor will always ensure that you receive the correct amount of hours before your test.
