Here are some Frequently asked questions:
What is an intensive driving course?
An intensive driving course is a fast-tracked program designed to help learners pass their driving test in a short period, usually ranging from a few days to a couple of weeks.
You will typically have 5 hours of driving per day (2.5 hours in the morning, and 2.5 hours in the afternoon).
What size course do I need to take?
This will depend on your prior experience, and how quickly you can learn a new skill.
As a rough guide, the DVSA recommend a minimum of 40 hours of tuition, with an additional 10-20 hours of independent driving, for you to be fully ready to pass your test. If you already have some experience, you can deduct those hours from the overall amount that you’ll need to take. If in doubt – contact our office and we can advise you!
What is included in the course price?
Our courses include all tuition and use of the instructors car for the test (which is factored into your allocated hours).
How long will I need to wait for a driving test?
The DVSA no longer allow businesses to book you a driving test – so we can’t give you a concrete answer on this one!
Lots of students are finding tests using cancellation apps – and once you have a confirmed test date, we can usually organise your course leading up to it!
What type of car will I be driving?
We have both Manual & Automatic cars available for you to complete the course in. If you have any specific requests on the vehicle you’d like to learn in, please let us know at the point of booking!
How can I book onto a course?
The fastest way to book a course is to call our office on: 0121 472 6336.
You will need to have passed your theory test, and you’ll need to pay a deposit upfront (typically £100.00).
This fee will be knocked off the course price.
What if I don’t pass my driving test?
Mistakes can happen! If you don’t pass, we can either book you onto another course – or arrange for a brush up lesson or two before your next attempt.
